Job Description:

Responsible for the planning and implementation of a Senior Care Placement Agency (Agency). Upon successful start-up, this position will be responsible for the overall client and employee experience of the Agency. Lead, supervise and develop the performance of all business operations and departments including, but not limited to: administration, client services, human resources, training, and marketing. The General Manager should direct these activities with the goal of creating the highest possible level of client satisfaction with cost-efficiencies in mind. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units, as well directly supervise and train all employees. Has supervisory responsibility in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training consultants; appraising, performance; rewarding and disciplining; addressing issues and resolving problems. Provide the leadership, vision, and strategies to inspire the team to deliver exceptional service and drive financial success. Work with the owner to develop, implement and monitor a comprehensive sales and marketing plan that results in optimum growth on a state and national level.  Develop action plans to maximize referral partners as well as average rates to meet or exceed established budgetary guidelines for the business.  Work with front line managers to ensure the timely and accurate completion of financial statements and reports, and provide controls to ensure the proper handling and accounting for business receipts/invoicing.  Seasonal forecasting and planning of operating expenses to correspond to forecasted sales and costs. Review and approve all operating expenses. Ensure business policies and procedures are fully implemented in all departments, including safety, emergency guidelines, training, endorsements, etc. Direct, manage, train and counsel management staff and all employees. Actively participate in sales presentations, care facility tours and guest/client meetings. Establish and oversee human resources to ensure a productive, participative, comfortable, and safe work environment for all employees while ensuring that all employment-related processes and documentation are in compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations. Interact with State officials to ensure the Agency abides by all regulations. Promote the business in the community, industry, trade associations, and others. Confers with other managers and reviews activity/operating reports. Directs preparation of directives to outline any policy, program or operational changes if so determined.

Education Required:               High School Diploma or foreign equivalent any field.

Experience Required:             Minimum 1 year experience with Senior Care Placement including marketing on behalf of Assisted Living and Memory Care facilities. 1 year Management experience may be gained concurrently.

Special Requirements:           Required drug testing/screening and background check. 30% travel to unanticipated worksites in Texas.
