Many domain registrars have an automatic 301 redirect setup to point all ‘www’ links to their ‘non-www’ counterparts. 301 redirects stand for permanent redirects that inform search engines that the location of the page they intend to send visitors has been altered. It passes almost 90 percent of ranking power (link juice) to the redirected web page. We setup domains to force a non-www link, whereas the site redirects to the non-www link when a www link is entered. We have not seen a loss in ranking power....
