How to securely Share Access to your domain in Namecheap without sharing your password.

Step 1: Signing In

Sign into your Namecheap account (The Sign In option is available in the top hat of the page).

 

Step 2: Management

Select Domain List from the left sidebar and click on the Manage option in front of the domain name you would like to share access for.

 

Step 3: Share Access

Choose the Sharing & Transfer tab from the top menu and find the Share Access section. Simply input the new manager’s email address or Namecheap username into the New Manager field and click Add. (If you are sharing with Yroc Consulting and don’t have an email address to use, let us know.)

 

Step 4: Settings

Here you can select which settings we will have access to edit. Enter your account password in the appropriate field to confirm that you wish to share access to these settings with us.

 

Additional Information

Using this method, it’s only possible to give permissions for each domain separately. You cannot share access to the whole account using this method.
